Membership
Overview
Membership is available to potters of various skill levels and years of experience. Preference is given to residents of Aurora.

The aims and objectives of Guild membership are to:
-
support members in developing their own skills
-
promote and increase members' knowledge through an exchange of ideas
-
provide members with an opportunity to show and sell their work
The Guild achieves this through:
-
the operation and maintenance of a fully-equipped working studio
-
monthly meetings with presentations by Guild members or guest speakers
-
classes and workshops
-
lending library that includes subscriptions to two ceramics magazines
-
spring and fall sales of work by members
-
occasional exhibitions of members' work
-
the promotion and continued communications between other craft guilds across North America
-
membership with FUSION:The Ontario Clay & Glass Association and Craft Ontario
-
an association with the Aurora Cultural Centre
We offer three levels of membership:
The combined total of Studio and Associate memberships is limited to 82, 66 and 16 respectively.
Studio Membership Wait List:
There are generally more people interested in being a studio member than we have spaces so we maintain a Wait List. Please read carefully through the information on the Studio Membership page before you consider submitting a Wait List Request to apply to have your name added to the list. Completion of the form does not guarantee a spot on the list. Note that it could be a couple of years before your name reaches the top of the list and Aurora residents are given preference.

Membership Year:
Membership is paid annually and the year runs from January 1st to December 31st.
