This is an Intermediate/advanced wheel class suitable for those with experience on the potter’s wheel wishing to improve their throwing skills. Students must be comfortable with wedging and centering several pounds of clay, as well as throwing and trimming cylinders, small bowls, and plates. During this course we will look to improve the skill level of the participants while working on developing more efficient throwing techniques and focus on throwing larger, more challenging forms. We will work on specific forms: this may include moon jars, large plates, lids and galleries, tea pots and other multiple piece forms. We will also consider design details, such as handles and spouts.

***Registration is a 2 step process: Payment and Registration Form must be completed to hold a spot.
