Pictures of pottery created in past years at Kids Clay Camp can be seen in our Student Gallery.

Kids Clay Camps

The Kids Summer Clay Camps at the Pine Tree Potters' Guild give children between 8 and 12 years of age the opportunity to experiment with clay and participate in a new tactile experience.

Children will learn to manipulate clay into dragons, bowls, masks, mugs or whatever their minds can imagine! Clay, firings, glazing and other materials to complete one-of-a-kind creations are all included in the camp fee.

Registration information will be available Spring 2019.

ACC Afternoon Arts Program

We are pleased to announce that once again,
Pine Tree Potters' Guild
and
Aurora Cultural Center
will be working together for summertime programming events.

Aurora Cultural Center will be offering kids art camps in the afternoons during the same weeks as Kids Clay Camp. Registering for both will provide your child with full days of supervised fun and artistic expression! When your kids take a class at Pine Tree Potters' Guild in the mornings and a class with the ACC in the afternoons, the ACC staff will pick up your kids, walk them to the ACC and supervise them while they eat their bagged lunches. For more information and to register in the ACC programs, please see their website http://auroraculturalcentre.ca.

Teen Wheel Camp

This week long session of afternoon classes is for teens who are 13 to 18 years of age and have some previous experience with clay.

In this beginner class, students will learn to center clay on the wheel, to construct cylinder and bowl forms, to trim green ware, and to glaze bisque ware.

No wheel experience is required! Clay, firings, glazing and other materials to complete one-of-a-kind creations are all included in the camp fee.

Registration information will be available Spring 2019.
